Rinaldo Fernandes
Rinaldo Fernandes, Founder of The Handy Goan Automation, turned his childhood curiosity into a career. He'd take apart toys to understand how they worked, developing a problem-solving mindset. This skill helped him in his job, where he focused on preventing problems rather than just fixing them. A personal experience made him realize the importance of automation: his elderly family member slipped opening a gate and got injured. This led him to automate his own gate, which sparked interest among neighbours and friends. At 24, Rinaldo left a stable job to start his venture, The Handy Goan Automation, providing automation solutions for homes and spaces. He's driven by the question Why not? and aims to simplify life through technology.
